Appalachian Brewing White Birch Beer

Appalachian Brewing White Birch Beer

Yet another variety from Appalachian Brewing. This time, one of my favorites, white birch beer. Yet, I am kinda worried as, like their other varieties, they have that "Brewed with a Delightful Blend of Honey." I'm not so sure honey goes right with white birch beer though. Well, I guess I'll find out.

Well . . . that's different. It's sweet. In fact, I can taste the hint of honey there. It has good bite, buuuuuuuuut . . . I can barely taste the wintergreen (the main flavor of white birch beer.) I mean, it's there, but only ever so slight. It's odd because I like how it tastes, but I just don't consider it a white birch beer because of the lack of proper flavoring.

Sweetened With: "Pure Cane Sugar, Honey"

Verdict: Worth trying at least once
