Red Rock Golden Ginger Ale

Red Rock Golden Ginger Ale

Happened upon this ginger ale in a convenience store in the Peachtree Center in Atlanta, GA. The golden brown color really caught my eye. It'd be easy to mistake this beverage for an actual beer or ale! I made sure to buy a few and pack them safely (read: wrap in many layers of clothing) for my flight home.

The caption above the label reads "Just The Right Bite"--and I'm inclined to agree. You can really taste the ginger in this (though it does list having both "natural" and "artificial" flavors.) You can almost classify this as a ginger beer since it goes down a bit spicy! About the only bad thing about this ale is that I haven't been able to find it since leaving Atlanta. Who'da thunk that the home of Coca Cola would have a kick ass independent brew such as this?! I know for sure that I'll be picking up some more of this when I head down to Atlanta again this year!

Sweetened With: "100% pure cane sugar"

Verdict: Worth a case or two
